As Christians, we are all called to “The Great Commission” but it is safer for some than others. We hope to share the stories of Missionaries across the globe but some live in dangerous areas.
Some must watch for police that wish to stop the gospel from spreading. Others live in areas with extremist groups that have been known to murder preachers and burn villages where Christians live.
Our Goal is to share the stories of as many missionaries as possible but we can only share the stories of those in safe areas. We look forward to broadcasting these messages as soon as possible.
Grant and Kimberly Goodrich serve to reach out to those immigrants from Asia and Middle East who have moved into the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Many of these who have moved into the area come from a different culture and religious background.
We are glad as Inglewood Baptists to have the Goodrich family to share the Gospel message with this growing number of newcomers to the DFW area.
The Cortimilia family went out as missionaries from the Inglewood Baptist Church. We are glad to support the work of Sharon and Michael as they serve in Cape Town, South Africa.
Inglewood will have a team going to Zambia, July 20 to August 2, 2025. If you are interested in being apart of this team, please contact Ed Miller, Minister of Missions at [email protected]
This Mission Team will working with children at Chande Baptist Orphanage, be involved in evangelism, as well as ministering to pastors in Zambia.
Bud and Jessica Houston are involved as missionaries in the DFW area as they seek to identify and minister to those who have moved into the DFW area from other countries, as well as those from non-Christian backgrounds.
Bud is effective in helping bridge the gap with those from different cultures and religious backgrounds.
Daniel and Kendra Thomae’ serve in Sports Evangelism in Cape Town, South Africa. They are involved in ministry to children who have the absence of a father figure. These children are helped to cope with the struggles of life through the use of sports and a Christian influence of the Thomae’ family.
The Thomae’ son, Sammi went to South Africa when he was a few months old and he relates well to the children and youth in there. Inglewood is glad to help support the ministry of the Thomae’ family.
A team from Inglewood usually makes a trip to Zambia yearly to work with and support the work of the Chande Baptist Orphanage. Teams from Inglewood serve by working with children in Holiday Bible School, they serve by sharing Christ with those in rural bush areas, they leading men’s and women’s conferences, as well as participate and lead worship services.
There are many opportunities that God uses to make an eternal difference in the life of people. Today there are over 1,000,000 orphans in Zambia. The Chande Baptist Orphanage School has expanded to grades K to grade 9 and there are nearly 1,000 children attending their school.
This includes about 250 who are orphans. In addition, 24 children are being supported through the Orphanage ministry and who live in housing provided on the campus of the Chande Project.
